Announcement

On 1 April 2011 in Nairobi, Kenya Achim Steiner, UNEP Executive Director and HE Mr. Toshihisa Takata, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Republic of Kenya signed an Agreement amending the Agreement between the Government of Japan and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) relating to the UNEP International Environmental Technology Centre (IETC) in Japan. Consequently IETC Shiga Office was closed　and IETC is integrated in one Office in Osaka on 1 April 2011.
